FWSA MONTHLY SONGWRITER'S GATHERING

Monthly Songwriter's Gathering for FWSA Members (Non-Member Guests are Welcome to Attend one (1) meeting before joining but must join the FWSA to participate in future meetings in part because the speakers are generally paid a stipend to cover their cost of travel). The monthly program schedule of event is published on the FWSA Website Calendar. In addition to guest speakers, members and guests can submit their lyrics and songs for evaluation by the FWSA members in attendance.

The FWSA’s Open Mic is open to Association Members as well as guests. Original songs are preferred although cover songs are okay as long as the music itself is “live”, that is, no pre-recorded music. The length of each song performed should be no longer than 4 minutes. Fred’s offers a great selection of foods and beverages and is family friendly! Russell Farm Family Camp Out

Russell Farm Cultural Art Center, 405 W. Country Rd 714, Burleson

The FWSA has been invited to provide music between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. in support of the Far-Out Family Camp Out. According to Russell Farm's website you can enjoy an overnight campout with outdoor recreation, family bingo, nature hike and s'mores! Cost is $25 per family of 5. Tickets are available online from the Art Center and can be purchase at the BRiCk, or on the day of the event. This is a City of Crowley community event with music provided by the FWSA from 2 - 4 p.m. The FWSA is also sponsoring a booth for member of the Association to show their crafts. Food and other forms of entertainment are also expected to attract the hundreds of visitor who attend this annual event.

Wayne is a well-recognized Singer-Songwriter who makes his home right here in the metroplex. Although this is not a FWSA Sponsored event, the Association members are encouraged to keep the Association Members informed of their musical performances. Thanks Wayne!
