A.K.A. "Taterhead"
Steve lives in Fort Worth, where he works at a local television station. He credits his wife, Linda, with being a great inspiration, who has helped him believe that "these ditties I pen just might have more going for them than just things I play at family get-togethers."
Now in his 50’s, Steve says, "It’s a late start, trying to get ‘serious’ about writing songs, but ‘catch-up’ is one of my favorite condiments" (Yes, folks, the pun is intended!)
Steve loves most forms of music, from classical to big band to folk to country to western (the ‘separation’ is deliberate on his part) to rock, but most of what he writes, "Likes to come out of its womb as C&W or novelty."
